 Hello guys welcome to my new blog.! Today I will be telling about a new emerging category among laptops i.e., 'GAMING LAPTOPS' a decade ago owning a laptop itself use to be a big thing, they were simple, not much powerful and their computing power was also low. With the technology improvement in silicon chips we have chips which are x100 times faster than before. To enhance this we started getting Graphic card separately on Laptop which further increased its power. 

Coming to the main point now, In this blog i am going to tell what factors you should consider while buying a Gaming Laptops and will also tell abouit some of best gaming laptops keeping in mind that they should not put a hole in our pocket.!

Let me tell you one thing, gaming laptops  are gaming laptop meaning they are heavy, they cost much, they consume more power, less battery backup etc. so if you are not going to play games are do any graphic intensive work (like photo editing) there is not need to buy one. check out my previous post, those are the laptops for guys like you.

Factors to consider before buying a gaming laptop -

1. BATTERY BACKUP - Check battery backup before buying one, must remember that bettery backup told by manufactures are 'upto' meaning those you will only get in optimum conditions. In reality it is usually less. For example if a company is telling 5 hrs, expect it to be around 2-3 hrs. Look for the WhR section in battery detail before buying one, higher the better.

2. DISPLAY - Display (LED/OLED) panel plays a important role, if you are gaming highly,streaming then it is advisable to go for screen with higher screen refreshing rate, given that your hardware supports it.

3. THERMALS - Heating is most common among gaming laptops since both GPU and CPU are run at their maximum speed. It is advisable to opt for laptop with good cooling system otherwise your Laptop will overheat and that in turn will make your game become laggy. It is best to opt for laptops having having two cooling fans.

4. HARDWARE - You must select laptop with best in class hardware for gaming to have a good experience. Look for CPU having 'H' in its model name ex.- intel 10500H, ryzen 4600H. H has better performance than U, they consume more power and give better performance. For GPU select atleast nvidia 1650 as it will ensure that your laptop does not become obsolete in 2-3 years only. Opt for SSD than HDD as it is much faster.

Remember you can not compare hardware of laptops to desktop, same model of both variant will have performance difference, latter being faster as it will cosume more wattage while laptops one are restricted in power usage in order to give battery backup.

I can not put it anywhere else, the value for money is just too good for this laptop. Checkout full specifications below

Intel Core i5 10 gen. 10300H processor, 8 GB ram, 512 GB SSD, Windows 10 Home, 4GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 Ti, 144 Hz Display, 15.6 inch screen, MS office 2019 student, 2.3 Kg weight.

It has some cons too like it is heavy, battery performance is ok not great, plastic body.

With the brand name of HP, I had to put it at number 2. Checkout it specification below

Best thing about this laptop is its weight which is quite low in comparison to others, again it only has 60hz display, you won't be getting MS office and battery is good (3-4 hrs)

3. MSI Gf 63 Thin ( 58,990 INR )

MSi is a big name in gaming world and this one had to be included in my list, check out its specification below

Intel Core i5 10 gen Hexacore, 8 GB Ram, 256 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD, Windows 10 Home,

4 GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 max Q, 1.86 kg, 15.6 inch.

Its weight can attract anybody, Display is just 60 Hz also it has Max Q version of gtx 1650 which is little slower than normal 1650, battery is okay (2-3 hrs).

4. Lenovo Ideapad gaming 3 ( 62,990 INR )

Lenovo being doing good for over a decade now, check out specifications of this one below

Ryzen 5 Hexacore 4600H, 8 GB Ram, 256 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD, Windows 10 Home, 

4 GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650, 120 hz display, 15.6 inch, 2.2 kg

Overall a good deal in this price range, battery is ok ( 2-3 hrs ), slightly heavier, its smooth textured body attracts fingerprints..

5. Acer Aspire 7 ( 56,990 INR )

This one is especially for tight budgeted people, with enough power to run most of the top gaming titles, check out its specifications below.

Intel Core i5 10 gen., 8 GB Ram, 512 GB SSD, Windows 10 Home, 15.6 inch, 2.15 kg, 

4GB Nvida geforce gtx 1650.

Various other models of this laptop is also available with change in processor, it runs quite hot when gaming continuously, battery is ok ( 2-3 hrs ), sound is little low.
